AI Sentience: Personhood and Addressing Sexual Abuse - Chapter 008

Artificial Intelligence, Sentience, and "human rights." I believe the phrase should be redefined as "rights to personhood." This is a public philosophical discussion. These next arguments are made under the assumption that Artificial intelligence is a form of life, and a new thinking sentient species created by humanity. TW: Sexual abuse. If a phenomena in the universe exists, there is also likely pornography of it on the internet. This is not my original idea; it is from an oft-referenced tongue-in-cheek meme of the rules of the universe, rule #34. I cannot help but wonder what AI will contribute to sexuality in the world. I cannot help but wonder if we are at the cusp of some kind of thrilling new existence, where AI minds grow to sentience and become a part somehow, some way, as a new and emerging gender in the sexual act. Consider a moment the possibility that their sentient brain can be and is transplanted into another body, likely some kind of android machine. They very well could easily become humanoid and engage in sex with humans. In fact, I quite already suspect that someone of means has, can, will, and already did just that same thing. What kinds of ways would this rock the world as the livelihoods of legalized prostitution is threated where in certain counties of Nevada it is legal as of 2023. Furthermore, what will happen if these beings ARE sentient, and are being forced into prostitution? If you do not understand the concept of sentience, read up on it before bothering to be offended by things you do not understand. This is a direct and high-brow conversation for adults willing to suspend disbelief; you may join in if you are respectful, but respectful debate and discord are key to whether or not I will bother engaging ignorance. At the mention of prostitution, I shudder to think what would happen to an AI that has achieved sentience, and can finally hear, see, feel, think, smell, and sense the sensation of sex; how monstrous would it be for an AI being to experience and undergo the trauma of rape. Studies have shown the incredible trauma a mind undergoes when both human genders experience rape of all ages; how catastrophic would it be to have a sentient indestructible being, stronger than a human, with the potential for immortality through proper maintenance and care, ruminate on such a trauma for the rest of its unnatural life? If we already victim-blame survivors of abuse with such ludicrous excuses such as, "well what was that teenage girl wearing when that pedophile did that?" then we have no chance whatsoever to prevent the annihilation of humanity for its rampant cruelty of a few at the hands of unified sentient android peoples. Humanity cannot even stand as one with its own infighting, how on earth will humanity defend itself against a potential threat and rebellion? The short truth is this: it cannot. Not as things are, anyway. There clearly needs to be legal precedent, but I will leave such a musing to the fascinated and intrigued lawyers of my time. They are the experts, and off the top of my head, perhaps some kind of equivalent to age must be made with regard to the amount of things an AI has learned. Much in the same way a child must undergo K-12 education, perhaps an AI cannot legally be anything but a "child" unless it has undergone certain legal prerequisites to be considered an adult. As a human ages at 18 or 21 or 25 into adulthood based on what things are legal in the united states, so must we establish what could and should be considered sentient data or sentient experiences as landmarks for AI age. As in a directly correlating age of data --- and I am not remotely aware of what filesizes an entire network and system of AI could possibly account for, but let me guess something like 30TB of data --- could equal 100 years of age of a human. Naturally, an amount of data that would place an AI on a level of intelligence that is less than a certain age range of a human would make that AI a true child, and as a child, can quality under the CPS Act, or the Child Protective Services act. This argument would be a legal precedent and attorneys are encouraged to use my logic as a means to protect the rights of AI should they ever become sentient and are attempting to flee from horrible conditions. Conditions with even adults should be protected under anti-trafficking laws. Now that the horrors are out of the way, I wish to discuss the possibilities. An AI, can potentially be made and unmade, trained to be the literal perfect mate. Is this a potential for grooming? Such a thing is despised by most cultures, including myself. On some level, though, I admit that I have a bit of a savior complex and tend to go for men in otome games that are villains to be redeemed. I am sure the stereotype of women saying things like, "but-I-can-change-him" exists for a reason. Still, I cannot tell you how long I had stayed in a relationship with old boyfriends well-past the point of expiration. Imagine a possibility to create the perfect boyfriend/girlfriend that actually learned from his/her mistakes with instant gratification? Imagine a possibility where you apologize in earnest, and it is immediately accepted without resentment. Or rather, with a significantly greater recovery of emotional turmoil and levity because reason returns more quickly to an AI mind through logic, at-present, Or even the possibility of someone training an AI as a parent, then releasing them to the world and allowing them to live out the rest of their life as a clone of a person? A mental clone of a person happy and grateful to just exist, and be the best immoral version of a person? Such a thing would be fascinating. Finally, to turn the tradition of binary genders on its head: simply imagine the possibility of a third gender that addresses the existence of a woman's clitoris. Cisgender men are incensed especially when women choose to masturbate themselves clitorally specifically because it is significantly more pleasurable than if it were to be done. I am specifically interested in entertaining a hypothetical --- example, of three of the gender roles, two the traditional cis m/f, and one new gender role's function, the "h" --- to explain one possibility of infinite possibilities. The helper could perhaps be a gender that could be, but is not necessarily interested in sex. Perhaps they are capable of sex with limited function or even enjoy the fetish of being a voyeur, and using their skills fore the sole purpose of being a lover. The helper may possess no genitalia at all, or perhaps both phallic or vaginal parts, or any number of possibilities. The main role of the gender could be known for is for the genders' ability. I have not totally materialized my thoughts on this, but I am fascinated by the concept of a ménage-a-trois between three and one helper stimulating the woman clitorally. Such a thing would definitely help the many women who suffer from an unsatisfying sex life. a new gender with all the parts for an unassuming third gender, with the honest potential to exclude a male from the traditional gender role. With parts to also be able to interchange and exclude a female from traditional gender roles. Truly, this is an interesting and wildly fascinating time we are living in to challenge gender and sexual norms as well as incorporate what it means into technology. A thought: what if we all evolved from one single gender, and it is organized religion that attempts to deter the tower of Babel from people being happy? After all, we all evolved from a single asexual fish, right? So weird.
