Turks Missive - 0004
President Shinra hands Vincent a missive to deliver on company letterhead. Dutifully, he does not read the missive as he walks it to the final destination. He grimaces as he sees the recipient's name. Unable to restrain his own curiosity, he scans the unwrapped missive. Vincent thinks to himself, "Perhaps my reading of it was the intent all along by the President; after all, would he not have taken care to seal and wrap it before my delivery?" Vincent takes a gamble and reads. Professor Hojo: Your experiments are causing causing disruptive murmurs among the staff. ShinRa could ignore such unethical pursuits as they affected non-ShinRa interests up to this point, but it would be imprudent to not ackknowledge that you would betray ShinRa as soon as our interests no longer align. I am a businessman, however, and a prudent one. I wish to ensure that you are as satisfied as possible, that we may continue a healthy working relationship to promote ShinRa's survival. Visit my office at your earliest convenience; let us update the terms of our contract to something we shall both find appetizing. Regards, President ShinRa, Sr. Vincent sighs to himself in exhasperation, wondering what in particular about Dr. Hojo allows him so much leeway at ShinRa corporation. Is it his influence? Completely malleable ethics? Cunning? Accumulated wealth? Charisma? Whatever the case, these missives are growing tiresome to deliver. Wutai might be nice this time of year, and not a micron of a trace of ShinRa is there.
